 San Lorenzo Golf Course

Situated on the very exclusive Quinta do Lago estate in the Algarve. This is one of the most popular golf courses in Portugal. The location is absolutely fantastic with an 18-hole par 72 which is laid out in a figure of eight bending through pine woodland. The fairways are textured in Bermuda grass with several inland lakes. Please note; the course is only for guests at the Dona Filipa Hotel and course members.

Penha Longa Atlântico

Another incredible golf course situated in a natural reserve overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The alternating elevation makes for one of the fastest greens in Portugal! The course travels up and down various rolling hills. The views towards the coast from some of the greens are awe-inspiring.

Monte Rei Golf Club

The famous golf legend Jack Nicklaus is the architect who designed this spectacular golf course, which is close to Tavira in the Algarve. TH course is quite secluded but within striking distance of the undulating 18-hole par-72 layout is defined by a few tricky water hazards and deep bunkers.

Oceânico Victoria

This impressive golf course is situated in the upscale Vilamoura resort, on Portugal’s Algarve coast. The 18-hole par-72 Victoria is indeed a challenge as it is amidst coastal wetlands. You will be presented with long, undulating fairways that maybe hard to gauge.

Vale do Lobo Royal

This famous course holds the superb signature 16th hole of Vale do Lobo’s celebrated Royal Golf Course. The infamous cliff-top carryover holds one of the most challenging shots in Portugal. There are several water hazards to think about, with holes 6 and 7 surrounded by lakes. However, it is the 9th that will really test your talents!

Oceânico Old Course

The Old Course is more or less where golf in the Algarve started. It is located at Vilamoura, with long and narrow fairways lined with pine trees. The main hazard at the 4th hole is a beautiful lake. There are buggies available and a sophisticated clubhouse with a superb restaurant.

Oitavos Dunes

This is a world-class natural links golf course situated on the Lisbon coast, near the Sintra Mountains, and overlooking the beautiful Atlantic Ocean. As its name might imply – the course has some amazing sand dunes. Greens are designed around acres of pines trees. The 8th is a ‘tricky one’ with the prevailing wind, trees, and well-placed bunkers.

Quinta do Lago South

The Portuguese Open has played out on this superb course over eight times! The famous holes overlook the Ria Formosa Natural Park. Here there are two of the region’s best layouts; the Ocean Course and the nearby Royal Course. The Ocean has the world-famous cliff top 16th hole, with amazing sea views.
The water hazards are presented at the 3rd and 5th holes with several strategically placed bunkers that will require a cautious swing.
